Included in our trips are tours of the world renowned Reidy's Lure Factory. The factory is set in natural bush surrounds and all efforts have been made to preserve this environment. When visiting Reidy's you can enjoy a factory tour, and see how lures are made without using a piece of wood and pocket knife.
Reidy's Fishing Lure Factory is located 40 kilometres south of Darwin on the Stuart Highway. The Arnhem Highway turnoff to Kakadu National Park is approximately 200 metres from the factory.
Witness the lures being:
- ultrasonically welded together
- machine applied with all the intricate designs and patterns
- tested in a swim tank
Receive valuable information on the correct procedure of working lures.

Downunder Ice Boxes use a special polyutherane refrigeration foam to bond together the marine grade fibreglass, which gives the ice box a thickness of 50mm walls, base & lid. The handles and hinges of the Downunder Ice Boxes are U.V stabilised moulded high impact nylon. The handles are designed with a locking position for ease of carrying.
Downunder Ice Boxes are fitted with a recess in the inner base of the ice box to allow water drainage, and are easy to clean, with smooth and odour resistant surfaces.
