Vanderlin Island Sportfishing Safaris

Snug to the coastline of the Gulf of Carpentaria a series of islands make up the Sir Edward Pellew Group of Islands.

Darren’s Northern Territory Barramundi Safaris hosts clients at their beach camp on one of these, Vanderlin Island.

From this base camp you may fish the tidal creeks along the remote coastline or chase a variety of pelagics around the islands. Offshore, remote shallow reef areas offer up tropical speedsters that have made this area of the Northern Territory famous. Big GT’s, Spanish mackerel, monster queenfish and bottom species such as coral trout and emperors are all on offer from this fantastic destination.
